The scandal in the world of K-pop is growing. Recently, it was learned that a member of the BTS group had suffered from a privacy breach. An employee of the national railway operator KORAIL had access to RM’s personal data. He followed where Namjoon was going and helped his friends buy tickets near him.
It is known that the man abused his working position and browsed the musician’s data about 20 times. The man knew Namjoon’s passport details as well as his home address. It is possible that he sold the address to BTS fans, and he himself or his friends could “arrange” a chance encounter with RM.
By the way, RM himself is aware of the situation. He reposted a story on his page, which says exactly how the employee helped his friends book seats next to him or in the same car. Fans have sounded the alarm! They asked BIG HIT Music to look into the matter immediately and provide RM with complete confidentiality. The company responded to fan inquiries and wrote:
“We will verify the details and then take the necessary measures to protect our artists.”
Note that this is not the first time that there has been a violation of privacy in the lives of stars.
